There are many obstacles to overcome in the disaster response field. Too many times, response teams don’t take the time to connect with the community we are serving and overcome the fears of the survivors. That’s what we set out to do in this film. When we become part of the communities we serve, we can help restore the broken, bring healing to the hurt and remove the monuments of hopelessness.
