Join us Wednesday October 26, 2022 at the Morris Arboretum for a full day of Crane Safety!

This full-day program will review crane operation, OSHA and ANSI standards, pre-operation inspection, load charts, lifting requirements and more. After indoor instruction in the morning, we will move outside for hands-on crane operations training on the Arboretum grounds.

Instructor Hans Tielmann, owner of NJ Crane Expert, is a New Jersey licensed tree expert, NCCER mobile crane instructor and Petzl technical partner. With over 15 years’ experience in the tree-care industry, he has created a curriculum that is specific to tree care with an emphasis and focus on safety. Hans has dedicated his career to furthering education and safety in the tree-care industry. This course is recommended for anyone who will be working with a crane, not just operators or climbers. It is essential that everyone on a job site is aware of safe crane operation.

This course carries 6 ISA CEUS for Certified Arborists, Climber Specialists or Municipal Specialists (P=4; M=2).
